Start-up service for new and remodeled pools – When your pool is first filled, it requires 4 weeks of monitoring to adjust the chemical levels, apply stain preventatives and will need to be brushed 3 times a week.
Chemical Bombs – When Phosphate levels are too high, they must be lowered chemically.
Chemical Analysis – Testing the chemical levels of your water.
Algae Treatments – When your pool starts to form algae, you want to treat it immediately because it is both a health hazard and it can stain your pool surface material. Algae is usually a warm weather problem and our technicians are on the alert for signs of algae formation. • How to Get Rid of Algae http://www.atlaspoolsinc.com/pdf/algae.pdf
Drain and Fill – This procedure should be followed up with a Start-up Service, see #1 above.
- Every 4-6 years, your pool should be completely drained and refilled, then balanced with chemicals (Start-Up Service). A professional pool technician can test your water for Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). This is all products which are dissolved in the water including chemicals, debris from environment and swimmer waste products. Increased TDS in the water can lead to reduced effectiveness of chemicals, increased algae, cloudiness, scaling, and staining. Draining the pool is recommended when TDS levels reach above 2500 parts per million (ppm).
- Also you will need to fill your pool whenever your pool is required to be drained to do other work such as patching, replastering, structural repairs, new tile, acid wash… It should then be balance with chemicals (Start-Up Service)
